I have an 09 GSXR1000 I have an oil leak on the right side front of my motor coming from where it looks like the valve cover gasket adjusted the valve cover gasket and everything looks good and is torqued right. It still seeps oil while I riding it. I took it apart and re torqued the valve cover bolts as far as I can see the gasket is seated properly. Also I started having an issue with it bogging down at seven grand can get it to go any further and if I try and just twist the throttle it bogs out and was about to die. Could somethings be causing it to build too much pressure and push oil out of the valve cover and if that was the case would it be coming out other places?
I don’t see the issues being related.
You say you checked the valve cover gasket but it might be time to replace it. They do get old and inflexible. Before I did that, I would find out exactly where the leak is coming from. 2006 gsxr 1000 fairings
Cleaning and drying the suspect area thoroughly then splashing some baby powder around will show a leak up pretty quickly.
Regarding the bogging, the most common cause is a fuel issue usually caused by a dirty fuel pump filter.
That is just my guess based on the limited information.

You need a new valve cover gasket! I would think if your valve cover or head was so warped or bent it was leaking with a good gasket you would notice rite away. Now for the bogging many things can cause it fuel filters are notorious for clogging and people mistakenly think it there fuel pump you can rule a fuel issue out easily by a preasure and volume test. Is there any f1 light on and if so what codes are they? If your bogging is occurring only during certain rpm ranges you can check your tps for dead spots with a ohms meter. is your stva cycling correctly u can watch it during start up after u remove the intake box.
